The Stars are Aligning in your favor…

Finally, after all the heavy cards we see it come before it; the devil, the tower; which are all about destruction and sudden changes coming upon us, the star card breaks the Dawn!

I do believe the stars depicted in this card are morning stars So it’s a fresh new day and in the star card are many symbols of divine gifts coming your way.

The Star card usually shows a nude woman pouring out water from two different jugs. She usually stands or kneels under a large star was seven different smaller stars arranged around the large center star. The background she stands against is lush. She pours two jugs over lush green earth with new growth and flowers and off in the distance there is a tree the bird that watches over her.

This card is often called the significator of the Aquarius star sign. If the star card lands in your reading there may be an Aquarius about to roll up on you and hopefully not drown you with inspiration but just pour creative juices gracefully out on the landscape. 

It may also mean that you yourself are in Aquarius need to tap into the essential essence of your star sign and dig into divine inspiration.

Notice that in most cards the water bearer has no clothes. She doesn’t need clothes because she is not only pouring out water on the land and into the pool she’s about to dive in and enjoy the sensations of all she has created.

Remember these cards were written at the time before fancy bathing suits were fashionable things; people probably bathed nude.

But her nudity signifies something else. It signifies the willingness to strip down to only the essential elements, to that thing which is essentially unique that only you could bring that divine inspiration to earth and let it create abundance here.

Everyone has a gift to contribute and this card is calling on yours.

Some things to notice about this card are that she not only pours water into the pool of water she pours water out onto the earth. 

The water bearer creates fertility and abundance and pours the water or love or the information that she’s bringing to their environment to a place where it can be absorbed.  

The Earth filters the water she pours out and uses it to grow flowers and a garden of abundance until it drains off into the pool at her feet.

If this card lands in your reading it may be a sign to direct your efforts to a place where they will be best received.

I’m not sure if the medieval imagery does justice to the concept of this card but I believe the spirit of this card reminds us of an oasis in the desert.

As we have been taking this journey through the major arcana with our ups and our downs and all the intense emotional situations we have run across, the star card comes to bring us rest and relaxation maybe let us be a little bit hedonistic.

All the stars in the sky of the card indicate that the liquid she’s pouring out has a connection to the heavens.

Not only is the water bearer pouring out the water she pours out divine inspiration creativity artistic expression in abundance.

This card is really a card of balance. In it, we see all the elements; earth, air, fire, water, and spirit. 

These are the traditional elements of feng shui This card is an indication that everything is in its place. All is as it should be in your life and it can be brought into balance and abundance despite the challenges you’ve overcome in the past.

A renewal of creativity is about to burst upon you. You will have clear direction and strong communication skills both with those around you and with spirit.

Part of the core meaning of this card. Give yourself permission to enjoy a period of satisfaction peace and serenity. And a burst of creative energy.  

Take your time at the oasis and refresh yourself.

If you have pulled this card in relation to a love question you might be feeling starry-eyed and a little gushy, that’s a great place to start from and is a clear indicator of infatuation.

If this card has landed in the money spread, it’s an indication that the stars are aligning in your favor. The quickest way to prosperity if the star card is guiding you is to filter your efforts through other media. The water travels through the earth that she pours it upon and is purified.

Aquarians are always concerned about the greater good of humanity. Notice she just isn’t concerned with her own pool but Waters the earth and the environment around it.

This is a clue of how to become more abundant. If you back up in your efforts and take a more global look at how your prosperity benefits the environment you’ll see a clear path to multiply your efforts. 

This card may be telling you that abundance is all around you when you choose to care for the earth. See how you can get grounded and work with the seasons for more abundance.

If this card landed and the career choice, it’s an indication that it will make you prosperous but it will require that you pour all of your energy and passion into the project.

 

It may indicate an energy leak in your love your finances.

It can indicate feeling overwhelmed with burdens and feeling exhausted like you’re pouring out all your time and energy to no good end

This card may be a reminder to look up to the stars. It is quite often the water bear in the card is just looking down at the pool when the glory of the heavens shines above her.

If she shows up reversed she may be encouraging you to change your perspective and see at your problems from another direction.

This card reversed may come as a reminder that all of your actions have consequences. 

Notice all the ripples in the pool at her feet. It could be a reminder to be an example to those around you and to remember the choices have consequences so make sure the wave you start is the one you want when he comes back to the shore that you were standing on.

In either direction, this card reminds us that we are worthy of all the good that comes to us and we have the capacity to receive all the blessings we can and share them with those around us.
